Esther Robison

Esther Robison

From the time Esther memorized the color chart in the first grade, she has always enjoyed Art. She took art classes throughout her early education and majored in Printing Technology in college.

Originally from the Bay Area in California, she moved to Gabriola Island in British Columbia after an early retirement. In Gabriola, she volunteered in the After-School Art Club at the local elementary school and learned about acrylics. It was there that she met like-minded individuals and immediately focused on painting. She became a founding member of the art collective, The Group of Several, and finally pursued her dream of becoming an artist.

After relocating to Ladysmith on Vancouver Island, she joined the Arts Council of Ladysmith where she opens her studio/gallery at their annual Spring Art Tour and showcases her work at the Ladysmith Gallery.

As a self-taught artist, she continues honing her craft by taking workshops taught by established artists and she expands her art expression with new found techniques and materials.
